PlaneTransformOptions

Options accepted by plane() to offset and rotate a plane. The offset is applied first. The rotations are around the plane's own axes by default — X first, then Y and the normal as the earlier turns left them — which pass through the plane's origin, so it tilts in place. With rotationAxes: 'world' they are around the world X, Y and Z axes through the world origin, so an offset plane orbits it.

Properties

PropertyTypeDescription
offsetnumberDistance to translate the plane along its normal (optional)
rotateXnumberRotation around the plane's X axis (in degrees) (optional)
rotateYnumberRotation around the plane's Y axis (in degrees) (optional)
rotateZnumberRotation around the plane's Z axis / normal (in degrees) (optional)
rotationAxes'local' | 'world'The axes the rotations turn around: the plane's own through its origin (local, the default — tilts in place) or the world axes through the world origin (world — an offset plane orbits) (optional)
